All members
that wear the red & yellow quartered cap are volunteer surf lifesavers.
They have earned and annually update the proficiency of their "Bronze
Medallion" or hold a "Surf Rescue Certificate" as a probationary surf
lifesaver. The Surf
Rescue Certificate (SRC) is for juniors members, while the Bronze
Medallion (BM) is for senior members.
Our
chief instructor Frank Davey holds regular training sessions at the
club in both BM ann SRC. After obtaining your BM you can then go on
to train as an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) driver or crew person
and can also sit for you Advanced Resuscitation Certificate (ARC).

If
you are interested in becoming a member but do not have the profeciency
to do your Bronze Medallion we still welcome members and encourage
them to become part of the club. There are many other important
positions that can be held by our members.
